flip flops are pretty unprofessional,go to an army surplus and get you some 65-75 army boots, they are great in wet situuations, plus they are great to fish in, safety first.....rrrroots!

Why would you ever use flex pipes undergroud? They are not made for pressure from the outside. But worse anything can get stuck on the ribbles, specially as a storm waterdrain, rocks will get in them, they will cut through it over time. Won't even take that long. If I where them I would dig it all up (cut the grass in nice slabs) and replace everything that is flex with a normal pvc. The access seems easy enough and not that deep, this is a fix you could do even if it's your first time doing plumber work. Meanwhile Gavin here, makes quick work of the roots. Hope he listens to your advice, cause else this is gonna be blocked every year.

Best you can do Gavin, I guessing thats a old volume built home? Theres no way I would put that storm flex rubbish around my home. The only solution is to replace with solid pvc. If this was or is still compliant, Im shocked.

I am from Alberta, Canada. In spring, people wear shorts and t-shirts at +10 to celebrate after up to -40 temperatures. We can still handle the cold air, so it feels warm. It varies where you are as well. But here is considered to be a very cold city in winter. However, I start to die when it gets to +26, lol. We do get up to +30, high 20's average for summer. So it is the same, but opposite, if that makes sense?
